We have four education day meetings each year. These meetings include a wide range of topics relevant to occupational health, and discussion is actively encouraged. Our meetings are usually held at Seminar Rooms 1 and 2, The Education Centre, Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, 75 York Road, London SE1 7NJ. Nearest tube/ train Waterloo.

Faculty of Occupational Nursing Accreditation Scheme survey 

FOHN would like to hear your views

 FOHN has been engaging with practitioners and specialists in the field of OH nursing, as well as other stakeholders, listening to concerns about recognising specialist nursing competence and commitment to improving health and wellbeing at work. 

 The feedback we have received has provided the springboard on which FOHN have developed the draft framework, processes and documentation that go to make up the FOHN Accreditation Scheme. The scheme focusses on the knowledge, work experience, competence and other attributes of nurses working in a workplace setting – the very best in OH nursing. 

 Please contribute to this vital piece of work to provide an accreditation scheme that supports the recognition of OH nurses throughout their career. You can do this by responding to this 20-minute survey.

 Following consultation, the scheme will be launched alongside a suite of documents that will support nurses and assessors through the accreditation process.
